Ziad I. Youssef

The founder and principal of the firm, Ziad Youssef, has lived in Whatcom County since 1990. He’s a 1993 graduate of Western Washington University’s College of Business and Economics and 1997 graduate of Seattle University School of Law.
He founded his first firm in Bellingham, WA in 2003, and has been focused on criminal law and personal injury ever since. In 2019 he created a Bellingham Injury Law, PLLC to represent victims of serious motor vehicle injury claims. Ziad serves on the board of Whatcom County’s award-winning volunteer lawyer program, Law Advocates and began his term as Board Chair in 2020.
The firm is home to two attorneys and two paralegals, all of whom take pride in serving members of our community when they need it most. As members of the mytrafficman law campus, our team of legal professionals each have space to serve, learn, thrive and grow as we focus on our mission of being the flagship example for how legal care is delivered.

Sydney has been working with the Law Offices of Ziad Youssef and defending injured clients for the last 11 years. She originally graduated from Bellingham Technical College with her degree in Medical Billing & Coding. Shortly after, she had the opportunity to fill in for a paralegal position at The Law Offices of Ziad I. Youssef. Little did she know that this temporary position would soon transform into a lifelong career. 11 years later, she is now the Senior Paralegal and the driving force behind the Bellingham Injury Law Firm.
Sydney takes on the leadership skills of a go-getter. Auto accidents can be a life-changing ordeal, and she goes above and beyond to make sure clients get fully compensated for their losses. Dealing with insurance companies can be complicated and stressful. Sydney’s background in medical coding gives her intimate knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes, making her the ideal person to defend an injured client’s case. She has one passion: helping clients navigate the process, so they can focus on their recovery.
If it’s one thing we know, it’s that the law is always changing. She is continuing her education with a Litigation course at Whatcom Community College. While the law may change, one thing remains the same: Sydney loves her work.
When she’s not defending clients, Sydney is spending time with friends, crafting, and traveling every chance she gets.
